Ms. Owen is the Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors for Herman Miller, Inc., a globally recognized design and innovation company. Herman Miller provides furnishings and related technologies and services to solve problems for people wherever they work, live, learn, and heal. As CEO, Andi is responsible for leading the company’s worldwide operations, which encompasses just over 8,500 team members and $2.57 billion in revenue in fiscal 2018. She was appointed President and CEO in August 2018 and is overseeing the company’s aggressive growth strategy to reach untapped market potential around the world. Andi has a demonstrated history of leading complex customer-focused businesses. She is a life-long learner whose natural curiosity led her to pursue a variety of professional opportunities during her 25-year career with Gap, Inc. From 2014-2017, Andi was the Global President of Banana Republic, where she held full P&L responsibility for the $2.8 billion brand, leading 11,000 employees in more than 600 specialty and outlet stores across 27 countries. Andi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary and completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. She also completed Harvard’s intensive, first-of-its-kind course, Women on Boards: Succeeding as a Corporate Director. Andi is a member of the Board of Directors for Taylor Morrison Home Corporation. Andi is also active in the community by serving as a member of the BIFMA Board, The Right Place, Inc., and Business Leaders for Michigan, and the Herman Miller Foundation.
